Playboy's revamped digital archives website
A few years ago Playboy announced that they would be putting every page of every issue up on their new digital archives website www.iplayboy.com. I went and bought a 1 month subscription to check it out, but much to my dismay, the scans were not very good and certainly not any better than what you could find elsewhere on the Internet.
Recently I went back to the site and it seems they have completely revamped it. The scans are now quite large at around 1500x2000. You can check it out yourself since they make 1 issue freely available, which changes every now and then I assume. They make it really hard to save the images though and use some script to purge them from your browser cache. I did have some luck with FireFox though, and saved the Playmate pictorial from their current free issue. In order to get the highest resolution of each pic, you have click on the + magnifying glass until it's zoomed in all the way, right click on the image, click on View Background Image, then Save Image As. Needless to say, it's rather time consuming since you have to do that for every single page.

Max Magazine
Just wondered if anyone was ever a fan of Max Magazine.
It's an Italian fashion, film music arts and sports magazine which used to have great photography and iconic models on it's pages.
I'm sure that you were able to get the Perelli Calender Calander in that magazine as well.
Very well shot glamour photography.
It was all written in Italian, so I'm guessing any of you that are Italian or speak the language may have heard of it?
I've included some covers just to jog some memories.
